Vaya Zvereva — contemporary Petersburg artist and sculptor, a graduate of the "Artistic ceramics" department of the Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design. Since 2016, the artist has been teaching ceramics to people with autism at the Anton is Nearby Center.
In her work, Vaya Zvereva explores the aesthetics of the ugly and absurd, art brut, naive art. In many ways, her work with students allows her to be in the field of their creative process, to analyze their vision of what is happening around, and then, combining with her own, create objects that belong to the common world.
