Post Nonna

Nonna Post is a young sculptor from Yekaterinburg. Several years ago she moved to study in the Czech Republic, where she graduated from bachelor's and master's degrees with an honorary dean's award at the University of West Bohemia. Studying at the Faculty of Design and Art in the workshop of Gabriel Wach, she developed her own style in which she creates her objects.

Despite the fact that the artist has been living in the Czech Republic for 8 years, the images of Russian realities, intertwined with Russian culture, dominate her work.

As Nonna Post herself writes: “I liked the game with stereotypes, brightness, turning into kitsch, bad taste. Thus, in my works I give porcelain a new perception, a certain pop-artness, relieving it of splendor...".

Now the artist continues her studies at the Higher School of Applied Arts in Prague.
