lotalota

** lotalota ** is a young artist who creates ironic ceramic objects. Lives and works in Moscow.

Graduated from the Altai State Technical University named after Polzunov with a degree in Design of Architectural Environment. She lived and worked as a graphic designer in Barnaul until 2017, then moved to Moscow and tried herself in illustration. She completed a course at the Russian Reporter Summer School. In 2018, she first tried to work with ceramics and sculpture in general. Using clay as a material, the artist focuses on the idea, not on the properties of the material, freely covering the natural texture of the faience with paint and glaze.

Usually her works are details and everyday objects snatched out by a relaxed gaze, arbitrarily mixed, merged with dear or random memories and fragments of thoughts, with a purpose or just like that. She actively participates in various fairs and exhibition projects.
