Leontyeva Olya

Olya Leontieva is a young artist from Moscow. She works at the junction of abstraction and figurative painting , giving preference to the mixed media.

She is a graduate of the British Higher School of Art and Design. She studied design, illustration and video. Later Olya returned to painting and began to work on building her own artistic path. When creating her works, she prefers to work with emotions, color and rhythm on the border with abstraction. The study of this intermediate state is often the starting point for the creation of works.

As the artist says, “my painting is, first of all, about space, a window to another world, and there, inside, you can find yourself”.

The main source of inspiration for Olya is nature, which later forms her visual language. In the past few years, the artist has been working in her own studio, where, in addition to painting, she has been creating sculptures.
