Katya Kosova is a modern multimedia artist. She was born and lives in Moscow.
Graduated from M. V. Lomonosov’s Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at MSU. In 2024, graduated from the graduate school of mechanics and mathematics MSU named M. V. Lomonosov. In 2021, she entered the Saint Petersburg Academy of Arts named after Ilya Repina. In 2023, she entered the Institute of Contemporary Art Joseph Bakstein.
Katya is a professional sport - snowboarding. Before the performance at the Olympic Games in Beijing, Katya fell hard and hit herself, in this case always check if she is not double-eyed. The fact of possible duplication, stratification had an influence on the artistic practice of Kati Kosova, in which multiexposition and complex images that shine through each other became predominant. This mutual flow of spaces and the study of the emergence of new spaces became a focus in the artistic practice of the artist.
