Alexandra Kokacheva is a talented young graphic artist from St. Petersburg who was lucky to find himself in the creative environment of contemporary authors and curators from St. Petersburg. The North-7 group and the artist Leonid Tskhe, studies at the PRO ARTE Foundation and curator Katya Bochavar, the Tavrida art forum with the changes of the British Higher School of Design - all this gave the artist an understanding of modern artistic processes and prompted her to search for her own themes and means. expressions.
Today, the range of Alexandra's work is quite wide and includes audio-visual installations, experiments with printed graphics, and the traditional form of painting. The innate gift of compositional thinking allows you to capture the scenes of the city landscape that at first glance, while revealing strangeness and deviations from the usual situation. Deserted urban places in Alexandra's works always keep traces of the presence of a person and the routes he traveled. Alexandra represented the DiDi Gallery stand at the Cosmoscow 2020 international contemporary art fair.
- “I am interested in the topics of civilization, civilization, how a person and his presence leave a mark in a certain place and how these places change over time ...” * (A. Kokacheva).
