Ima Maxim

Maxim Ima is a street art artist from Saint-Petersburg, curator of exhibition and public art projects. Laureate of the Sobaka.ru magazine award "Top 50 famous people of St. Petersburg" in the art nomination.

His artist's career began in 2005. Train rides in the Leningrad Region and abstract graffiti were the first that influenced the formation of the style of Maxim Ima.

A few years later, a new stage began, the artist turned to the creation of large-scale inscriptions. They were quotes and sayings about street art and contemporary artists, discussions about the value of art.

In 2009, Maxim became a co-worker at the exhibition hall "Protvor", where he curated several of own projects. After that, his curatorial activity began. Over the past few years, Maxim Ima has implemented his projects at the Central Exhibition Hall "Manezh" in St. Petersburg and at the Street Art Museum.

Now the artist turns to figurative painting and graphics, curates public art projects together with the Central Exhibition Hall "Manezh".
