Victoria Bodrova is Russian contemporary artist, graduate of the Saint-Peterburg Academy of Arts named after Ilya Repin.
Despite her young age, Victoria managed to take part in Russian and international projects. Some of these are “Russia is young Europe” held in France in 2014, “SHARPPS-7” at the Ovcharenko Gallery, as well as a large-scale group exhibition “Millennials in Contemporary Russian Art” at the Marble Palace.
Experiments with plane and materials originated while studying in the workshop of Leonid Tskhe at the Academy of Arts. It was reflected in abstract collages. Throughout the time artist's interest changed to the process of work creation. Images on the verge of abstraction and figurative became the main author's tools. They help to explore the issues of graphics, movement, corporeality and synesthesia in art.
