Remishevsky Victor

Victor Remishevsky is a famous artist and experimenter working in such areas as painting, drawing, book, object, ready-made, installation.

In 1976–1980 he was studing at the Odessa Pedagogical Institute named after Ushinskiy on the graphics faculty. In 1982–1988 — in Saint-Petersburg Academy of Art. In 1999-2000 — at the Municipal Center of additional education Fundamentals of Practical Activities in the Sphere of Contemporary Art at the St. Petersburg State University. Since 1991 Victor is the member of the Union of Artists of Russia, and since 1995 — member of the Union of UNESCO Artists. Since 1979 — participant of Odessa apartment exhibitions, and since 1982 he took part in lots of exhibitions in Russia and abroad. In 2001 Victor founded an artistic residence in Kronstadt. From 2001 to 2008 he was an artistic director of the residence of the National Centre of Contemporary Art in Kronstadt. In 2006 he became the winner of the first annual All-Russian competition of contemporary art Innovation in the nomination For the Creative Contribution to the Development of Modern Art.
